Alpine Residence Crans Montana

In Crans-Montana, dominated by the iconic silhouette of the Matterhorn in the distance, we completed an exceptional staircase project for a residence in the mountains.

The main objective was to incorporate the unique alpine natural backdrop into the interior, while striking a balance between modernity and enchanting elegance.

Inspired by our previous project on London’s Piccadilly and the client’s preferences, we developed a staircase that goes far beyond conventional design. Organic forms from the botanical world merge with contemporary architecture to create a sculptural work of art. Flowing lines are reminiscent of vines and alpine flora, while the design remains uncompromisingly modern.

The staircase forms the centrepiece of the interior, creating a dialogue between the rugged mountain world outside and the refined elegance inside. Every detail has been carefully crafted to reflect the distinctiveness of the Swiss Alpine landscape and capture the unique character of this extraordinary location. A symbiosis of nature and design that embodies the spirit of the mountains.
