Bauhaus villa Berlin Frohnau

The district of Frohnau, located in the north of Berlin, impresses with its often rural character and its nature. Those who reside there live in an idyllic oasis away from the big city life of the German capital. Markiewicz had the honor of providing a Frohnau city villa built in the modern Bauhaus style with a puristic folding staircase. The staircase design combines the warm naturalness of wood with the sober, almost cool austerity of concrete. Both building materials embody in their own way the matter-of-fact, raw beauty that can emanate from them. They thus function as a fascinating testimony to the fusion of functionality and aesthetic aspiration.
