Science and art – they have one thing in common, they create something new. So it is not surprising that this extravagant project was “created” in the Dahlem district of Berlin, where the Freie Universität is located. The staircase impresses with its avant-garde and tightly curved flight and the three-dimensionally shaped banister. Thus, when viewed from below, the staircase forms an elliptical spiral that winds its way upwards.
